Does anyone know of a set of plans, official or not, of the original 1963 Tardis time rotor? Not the console but the time rotor - the column with the clear plastic rods and doohickeys which rotated etc.

.

I'm thinking of trying to create a tiny version (with thin clear plastruct rods etc) to replace the tiny Eaglemoss 1st doctor Tardis console.

I can fudge a bit on accuracy with the Eaglemos console being so small -- but I wanted to see what its actual layout should be. I've seen plenty of pics and (even a few professional builds for the show itself) but not a set of plans of the actual layout of its complicated parts. Thanks in advance!

If TARDIS Builders was still around, I'd send you that direction but its offline at the moment. Instead, here are some graphics developed by Tony Farrel ( whom has been getting his name as making plans of late).

These are the plans I have copies of.

Thanks, just what I needed. I knew it was more complicated than it looked.

That bottom bowl is what will difficult to make.

As an aside, I’d love to see a modernized version of this, with the slowly rotating parts, very graceful & intricate yet subtle. Not just blue white leds which seem to cover all “hi tech” movie stuff these days.
