Doctor Fate

Hey guys and gals! This is my 4th thread I believe and I'm still relatively new to this stuff but I thought I'd attempt something not Arrow related. I will be starting a Dr. Fate build based on the New 52 and Young Justice designs. I'll be making the helmet from a pep file by JF Customs. This is the first pep file build I've ever done so any advice will be greatly appreciated. Also does any one know about any dye-subs for Dr. Fate?

Much like yourself and jmaxwell522 I'm trying my hands at JF's fine. Although I'm going to do mine in paper. I'd love to see how it comes out for ya

My advice is use a glue gun not superglue. I made the mistake and ended up gluing myself to the helmet about 1/2 dozen times. Plus it eats the foam a bit.

What foam did you use? The puzzle ones or the roll up mat? Is that the helmet with the wings on it?

I used the puzzle ones, it is the one with the wings but I left the detailing off, I prefer the old school DC to Nu52

That's what I'm using too. What are you gonna use over it? Bondo? Work btw!

I'm probably going to use Bondo glazing putty for gap filler and then seal with coats of glue/water mixture. Then primer w/ filler and paint
I haven't decided on Gold or a more Bronze coloring.

I'm gonna use the fiber glass resin I think and I'll probably go gold myself. And I sure did! I was kinda upset they haven't mentioned it since then. "Put that down before it puts you down"
