Doc Brown's Jacket/Robe

Was just watching BTTF for the thousandth time and noticed how cool Doc Brown's grey/black long, belted jacket (or robe) looks. It's the one he's wearing the evening of November 5th, 1955 when Marty shows up and explains how he's just arrived from the future.

Anyone have any good info on this? Pics? Has this been replicated by anybody? I don't remember ever seeing much on the costumes of BTTF... Any and all help appreciated.
