So I've been collecting bits and parts for about a year and a half now, finally got the flashhider that I needed (thanks Blast-tech.), and finished my blaster tonight. Weathered it a little bit, but it's based off the el cheapo airsoft Mauser, not the metal Denix. It's still a fully functioning airsoft pistol.

I'll have to take some daylight pics later to show the weathering detail, the flash isn't catching it well.

I've wanted this pistol since I was a kid, never was really satisfied with the Kenner blaster... now I have real looking one to display :)

Am now working on a Stargate P-90 SMG, not much work to do to that, just weathering.

That would be a ANH/Hero varient, with that scope/mount/grill combination.

Very nice work. I really like functional props :D

Snazzy.

I used the same airsoft to build my ESB blaster a year or so ago...

That dang select fire switch drove me nuts, so off it went...

What'd you do with the tassel? :lol

How much are the Mauser air pistols retailed at?

If it's fairly light, this would definitely be a good replica to carry around in a holster.

Kapowwe sells them for $14.95, but they're currently out of stock; I got mine off ebay for cheap, but a search for Mauser only brought up the High End KWC metal versions... It's pretty light, all done up with resin scope and muzzle mine weighs in at about 15 oz. give or take...

Yeah, they stopped poducing those cheaper plastic airsoft Mausers. All they have now are the ones that retail around $110 or so - but they're metal. I wish I'd of bought more than one.

Okay, forgot I was dealing with purists here. :) Yes, it would be an ANH/Hero variant with the scope/muzzle combo I've got here. The official Greedokiller variant has the grease gun flash suppressor.

I covered the fire selector switch with a washer that happened to snap right on there. That's not canon that I know of, but it makes an easy "tell" for pics of my particular blaster.

I like the grip weathering on that ESB... will have to do something similar to tone down the plastic look on mine.
