Now if someone done or has this, Ive either not seen it or missed it. xp Since this was a hit or miss project for me.

Crayola has for some time an Airbrush kit that had me thinking for a while. its fairly cheap
http://www.amazon.com/Crayola-Marke...906736&sr=8-1-spell&keywords=cryola+air+bursh

So i got my hands on one and after using it, i saw some potential as i really wanted a air bursh kit, but cant afford one since im more interested in small time projects that wont require an entire set up atleast until i have the funding or the place to use it.

So i went out and got a 12v air compressor kit
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00R8JZ70E?psc=1

Also cheap.

and mulit-adapter i had already that had a max amp of 12v ( Could opt for batteries. Once you get it to 10v to 15v your fine. I went over and it kind of splatter all over)

So heres the set up.

Using my mulit- knife i unscrewed the screws. They are Triangle head. But the flat head on my mulit knife fit just fine.

Once you get the screws out. (4 total) Use a flat head to pry it open. Its tab glued together so it may take some patience to work it through. Dont rush or youll end up shattering it.

Just take your time...

After you spilt it, it should look like this.

Now a nice add one from the DC compressor was that it came with 3 nozzle tips. Use the center one.

Next you can remove the front nozzle . It slips out with no trouble.

Using the insert tip nozzle, you can inject it into the spray nozzle tip. For me it fits in pressure snug.

After a while you get something like this

After that I inserted the marker, and by adjusting the voltage I can get between 3d paint. or spray paint. I can mod it for the gun to be fully used. But its an easy diy build that i enjoy using .

Hope someone finds it useful xp.

very cool. with Crayola pens and "generics" abundant even at the dollar store your colors are endless. my question is.... can it be clear coated after?? like for helmets, prop guns and stuff that get handled alot. will the ink smudge/run??

I sprayed painted some stuff with. So far the results are pretty good.. I coated it with Clear coat after. I did get some rub off but thats if i applied pressure to it. But this on EVA foam. On a hard surface its hold well enough. The Marker spray doest run off or peel/flake . So for a cheap build to swap colors and quick paint. Im happy with it. Ill post some of the work i used with it.

As for the post with LetraJet Pantone Marker Airbrush I ve never seen it before..@.@..really nice..but....wont at some point the air from the can will run out?
