Displaying Your 12" Figures

Hey I just spent like 3 grand on figures and they should be arriving within the next week. I want to get a nice display case that has glass doors and maybe some lights. But I have no idea what brand or where to buy such items from. If anyone could help me out or give feed back from you own experiences with display your figures it would be greatly appreciated

I use a glass Cabinet that i got from IKEA. Glass walls, glass door, glass shelves. And there is a hole in the top so you can run lights.

A lot of figure collectors use these and as far as I know they're pretty good.  If you don't want to pay the extra cash for ikea lights many use store bought alternatives like tap lights.  Now, the only thing I have heard is that it's better to pick them up in person and that the open corners allow dust in.  The latter can easily be fixed with corner trim painted to match.  With a few minor tweaks you're still paying way less than others cabinets.

that is the one i was talking about, i forgot the name. I bought led strips off ebay and wired them to one plug. Love these cabinets.

3k on figures
you might look into more custom cases then the ikea ones  
nothing against them i have one myself
but there are MUCH nicer options out there especially if you have 3k worth of figures .

I found the Detolfs to be too flimsy and I got rid of them.  I would have doubts about displaying anything remotely heavy, even the NECA 1/4 scale figures are too heavy for me to be comfortable with a Detolf.  Ikea does have better options, but for some reason they don't sell them in the U.S. - unless they did something about that since the last time I checked.
