Display Stands/Cases??

I was wondering what everyone uses to keep their props Safe from the elements? I have several(hundreds) of prop replicas and items that I am going to display, but several (Batman cowl, Terminator head, Basketball size) items that wont be in a display case but rather on a stand. Does anyone have suggestions for me as to where to purchase acrylic cases or other protective cases?
I am leaning more towards acrylic cases. But if there is better cases then please let me know. Thank you in advance.
And please feel free to post pics of your items that are displayed (not in a cabinet) to give me ideas..

I've had several of these cases made at a local plastic fabrication shop....$150 - $200 per depending on the size.

A local shop will typically make them to order in custom sizes and by the time you factor in shipping from somewhere else....more cost effective to get something fabbed up locally.

Are you looking to put them in large cases and then on stands with in the case, or are you looking to have a case made for each item?

As is now they, are displayed(those not in cabinets) on top of shelves or furniture(like tv stands).....but I can forsee the Dust accumulating....So I am thinking that ones like the one listed (with the Darth Vader Helm) would be ideal.....
