Display stand for the Zvezda ISD

How are you displaying your completed models? Awaiting delivery of my own big ISD and there's no way in hell I'm using that pair of 'X' braces that come in the kit. Only a nice custom base and support will do, and since I'll be lighting the ship, it will have space for the power supply and switches. Care to share some pics of what you have?

Some are on a shelf, but most ships I have hanging with fishing line.

I have not started working on it yet but I was thinking about a metal stand with rare earth magnets glued to the inside of the hull,
That way I can move the model if need be but it will still be fairly secure.
Another route is an internal nut that will take a 1/4 inch threaded bolt.
I would take a look at 1/350th scale ship models and see how they are secured.
Or any of the 1/350th scale Enterprise models.
