Dismantling a Denix long gun?

Has anyone gotten into the cocking and (dry) firing mechanisms of the Denix rifles and shot guns?

I have one I may need to take apart in order to modify the wooden body that the hammer/trigger connections run through, and in my experience, Denix guns do NOT come apart nor go back together very well...

The problem with the Denix replicas is the screws.
Some are real steel, some are potmetal and some are pins masquerading as screws.
On these two examples, the screws attaching the butt stock were real, a big help.

Not much help, I know, but maybe a photo of what you want to do will help.
