hello all!
I have just recently found a lot of posters from the game dishonored. My question is, is there any way that i can get these to where i can get them printed at the size i want them. not sure what the file size has to be in order to print life sized.
anyway, here is a preview of some of the ones i found (I have the rest on my computer). if anyone can help me get them ready to take and be printed, that would be very appreciated! Also, if you think you can help, please give me your contact info so i can send you over the folder that contains all of the posters.
Thanks!

I am fairly sure that these cannot be blown up or reproduced without re-drawing them from scratch, they are simply of too low a resolution to be of much help. Also are these not protected by copyright?

It doesnt look like it, because they were just free floating around the internet for a really long time... I mean, wherever these came from, they were ripped directly from the game, so technically the person had to buy the game to be able to do that. rather or not they can get in trouble for copyright reasons, i have no clue, but if i am going to get in trouble for it, i would be happy to take them down (as long as i know how)
and yes, that was what i was worried about. If they got blown up, it would probably lose its quality, which is disappointing. Oh well, i know there's a way i can print them relatively small (like the size of a piece of paper) but I mean i guess its better than nothing!
And some of them are the size of a sheet of paper, but some of the posters like the wanted posters are supposed to be kind of big. But hey, they are still some cool reference shots if anyone wants to try to make them :D

I think the top 2 wanted posters would make great paper props to put up on a wall. Do you have larger size files?

As far as copyright issues, that's a can of worms around here...

I don't know if the files i have are larger or not..... honestly, I'm horrible when it comes to anything computer wise (like viewing the sizes of pictures or anything really). But, i can send them over to you if you would like to look at them!

On the copyright issues, i talked to a friend today actually about that. He said that the actual posters shouldn't be copyright, especially since i actually own the game. I just can't sell them (which is OK, i wasn't planning on selling any in the first place)

Wow,there's soo much great concept art in there! I just also had to notice an illustration of something that would make a fantastic project! Corvo's Sword. Here it is:

I've sculpted the full mask that Corvo wears in the game, but to make a silicone mold for it is going to cost ALOT so I'm putting the mask aside for a while....
As for the link for those posters, those look like they could very well be the right size to print!

Awesome,I'd love to see the Corvo mask! Your Booker DeWitt costume came out nice.

I was thinking of cutting up an anatomy skull as a base for the mask, but I don't know if the scale would allow.Would probably have to be an oversized skull to fit the front portion over the face.

Thank you! I used a mannequin head and put a bucnh of alluminum foil over it until i would be able to sculpt over it to where it would fit a face. the good thing to do is to make it just a bit bigger than the average face, and that will give it a nice look. If you go too big, it may not look right....
If you want to see some pictures for help, send me a PM! I'm not ready to show my progress pictures to everyone, but i would be willing to show you if you needed help! :D

Usually hi-res images need to be in the 300DPI range for printing..
to come out in the right size and not pixelated

Yeah, 150 DPI works well too (but only from a dye sub experience, i have no clue when it comes to pictures if its the same)

Ive been playing the game recently, and I quite liked the bottle street gang logo. Could not find it on the net, so I thought I would take a stab at it.

Im not really that good on the computer design front, but saw a simple poster on some of the buildings, and thought I could probably redo it. Here is my version of the "Property of the City Watch" sign

I'm not great with computer design either, but this is really good.

Using KevinDG's great Bottle Street Logo,
I've vectorized so it can be printed huge without pixels,
.........hope you like it! :love
