Hey everyone!
I am a researcher on a new TV show for the Discovery Channel called "The Lord of the Fleas." The show follows two brothers as they find and repurpose or refurbish unique, vintage items. The majority of items featured have ties to pop culture history and are "iconic" in the film and TV industry.
As we are in preproduction, we are still in need of some things..
One item the brothers will be recreating in an episode is the Pee Wee Herman Schwinn Bike from "Pee Wee's Big Adventure." I stumbled upon your site because it's pretty obvious you guys are the experts in replica props. We mainly need assistance in tracking down the tiger siren found on his bike. I know some have been made in the past, but they seem to be impossible to find these days. We'd love to feature a replica siren on our Schwinn.
Any help or leads as to where we can find this would be greatly appreciated. The show will be taking place in the NYC area.
