Few pictures of my progress.Every joint is moveable.Hollowed some of the main body & some other pieces to reduce weight.Cleanedout/carved the back pieces of the thigh.Still a bit of a way to go.Hope I can paint it up as good as some of the other members great builds so far.

Very nice !

I think you should replace the rail with brass rod cuz it's out of scale !

Haha nice I had the same ampli and I have the same brown Gibson case for my Les Paul !

Thanks man.Damn I had that amp for many years. The case is holding a 89 cream L.P. custom that some one gave me.:coolI don't play as much anymore, mostly finger picking my Martin DM.Could you tell me what gauge rod to use for the railing. Also can some one post/send me some ref pic of the rear side and side views of the AT-ST.I also need to know what springs to use to replace the hoses and where I can buy them. Thanks,Dave

The top railing is 2mm thick on the studio models.. the hoses can be made by wrapping an extremely thin guage wire (we're talking a half a millimeter or less) around wire that's 3mm. Bass guitar strings can also be used, but I'm not sure of the source of the springs.. just as long as they're 3mm. I have some good views of the back side I can send but I'd have to clear it with Tox first for any side views as they're his property. I have some of my own though. Send me a pm

Wow someone gave you a LP custom... You're a lucky guy !!! :thumbsup Does it sound good ? Mine is a poor 96 LP studio ! :cry

As Matt said, 2mm bras rod for the railing on the studio model.
About the hose, I used 3mm bass string (Im not sure but I think it was the A string) and I noticed (at least on the one I'm replicated) that one of the hose (the one connected to the 8ton parts) is smaller, about 2,5mm so I used a 2,5 bass string (the D string I think, but once again, Im not a bassist, they come from y GF's bass :lol but that's a secret ! :love)

Just about done with the build, need to tweak a couple of things. Can't start to paint till the weather gets warmer.Would like to thank Julein for ref pictures & advice,Matt for ref pitures,& Steve for a great kit.

Thanks vos.I did my best with what I could find at the hobbie shop.I wish I could take better/larger pictures.

Yeah the chin and side guns look like they should be now !

Will you let one of the hatch closed ?

Anyway great job on the whole thing, cant wait to see the paintjob !

Thanks Julien, the reason one eye lid is closed is because I broke the support rod.I'll have to make new ones.It looks pretty mean with one down though.

Dave,i swear i searched in term "atst" "at st" and "at-st" then looked again 5 times, and i couldn't find this thread,Thanks for the link and ideas! And goodluck on the build!
Please show more if you had any progress:):thumbsup
