Die Cast Lighted 1/350th TOS Enterprise (TOMY crowd funded)

1855 backers. Looks like they might reach their goal of 2000…may even exceed that. That’s awesome more the merrier!
They've already met and exceeded their monetary goal of $1,200,000.00. They don't need 2000 backers. The only reason for the 2000 was if everybody ordered only one but several bought multiples thereby reducing the number of backers.

1/350
There already at 108.32 % of their goal and almost $100,000 more than there current goal !

Join Chris and Travis for their final Enterprise reveal as they showcase the first look at the packaging artwork (pending licensor approval) and announce a new order goal of 2,000 pieces!

Oh man, if they did a refit Enterprise? Instant buy for me.

Just backed a second one. Frankly that way it's going to be free. Sell the second in a few years it will easily go for double by then.

Hmmm. That's not a bad idea. Considering how poor the marketing has been, once word gets out, it's sure to go way up in demand.

How much do the Master Replicas ones resell for usually? There's currently one on Ebay listed for $7,500. Could that really be the going rate these days???

There was another one up there for $12000.00

buy two now, sell one to pay for both of them in a year is prolly an understatement...if it is good.
If there ends up being some kind of inherent defect, then you have two really big, expensive, paperweights

Definitely. Being that's it's a well-established company though, it gives me comfort.

I think a diecast TOS shuttlecraft would be right up their alley someday.

You can get a very high quality build of the PL kit for considerably less and it will be better in all ways. Make no sense to buy the MR for those crazy prices.

AGREED!

And if they made 1200 and charged $1,000 as a numbered, certified, convention exclusive they would have already sold out and folks would be complaining.

With Hot Toys doing $300-400 re-issues of die cast dol...er, action figures, there *IS* a market, but folks have the opportunity to footdrag.

As of now a total of 2215 preordered with a couple of days to go !

Man that happens. Props/replicas made by any company have inherent risks involved. That’s why it’s best to maximize your luck by going with established companies. Hence why I feel good plunking down 600 bucks with TOMY, a well established company.

MRE prices are crazy indeed! Wonder if this TOMY release will bring down prices on the aftermarket for the MRE.

Funny enough I was watching videos of both a PL Enterprise TOS and a Refit last night. Definitely would much rather have one of those over a MR.

I want the backer numbers to go as high as possible so Tomy has incentive to put resources into Star Trek collectibles.

I'm also thrilled this will get produced!

It would be great to actually hit 5000 backers.
Totally agree!! It's over 2000 backers now which is so cool! I wish they could get to 2500. 5000 isn't doable unless they extend the campaign again.

So cool!!! LOL
