Odd question but i figured if porn soundtracks get CDs maybe these do. Watching Tron Legacy I got hit by nestalgia when the kid restarts the arcade and it got me wondering. Has anyone ever put out a cd of nothing but the sounds of an 80s arcade? i mean all the music and sounds blending together into that massive wall of sound. heck i'd be happy to just hear recordings of the individual games lol.

No idea really, but I have a gut feeling that if there ever was it'd be more likely on LP than on CD.

Back when I was in highschool, I had an 87 Pontiac Firebird. I put together a cd containing sound clips of KITT from Knight Rider, and I left 15 - 20 second gaps in between tracks, giving me time to respond to the recordings. I used to love riding around with the windows down, talking to my car. People got a kick out of it.

Funny. I remember Michael Pajaro, the guy who had a company that did KITT conversions (don't know if he's still in business or not), but I think at one point he offered a similar CD with audio tracks for the KITT sounds back in the late 1990s.
