Dexter's Kill Bag and Tools

I had someone look at the big one today and they seem to think the handles were cast. And it's possibly electro polished..? He is going to find out costs on how much that'd cost.

Got a set of kill tools for sale minus the kill knife. If anyones interested check out my thread in the junkyard or pm me.

It's understandable as hobbies change over time, rough patches, etc...
I don't think I would ever sell mine, hell I'm trying to complete mine with a pinder knife still

It's just sad to see the Dexter fans who have been around since the beginning of this thread, or even starting it for that matter, selling off their sets.

Hello everyone. I have been following this thread since its creation in early 2011 and have read every post multiple times. I have just recently started posting here though. I never thought I'd even try to get a set of these, although it was one thing I always knew I wanted in the back of my mind.

Anyways, I've been a huge fan of Dexter since it came out in 2006 and have followed the series along diligently since then, and as well I am a huge fan of many of you here and the amazing work you've done, and the collections you have built. This thread led me to a few other Dexter treads on this forum and introduced me to 5.11 products, which I now use every day and I recommend and advocate them to everyone I know. I made a post in the introduction thread, but as this thread is what drew me to this site in the beginning (after I Google searched "Dexter's Kill Tools" 2 years ago) I consider this thread to be my home here on this site so it's about time I chimed in here. The first time I Googled that it turned up nothing substantial, and about a week later I tried again and saw Tom's first post here attempting to identify everything, and I have been addicted to reading this thread since then.

I recently purchased Tom's Kill Tools set (today) as well as a few additional things I was able to find online. So far, I found an additional messermeister bag. It looks to be the accurate yellow logo blue stripe one in the pic and for less than $40 I couldn't pass it up. I plan to cut the flap off 1 of the bags and keep it on the other one. I got a substitute small bone saw, the 12 inch messermeister sharpening rod seen in a few screen shots, a 6 piece set of 6.25 in dissecting scalpels, the ice pic that Rbeato found, and it seems that now I have crossed the threshold from spectator to participant and I am absolutely and utterly hooked. I look forward the the incredible work I know Drew does with the custom knives, and to assembling other prop pieces.

I will of course post pics of all these things as they arrive so, although Tom is selling his set, at least it is not vanishing into anonymity, and while it has a new home, its images will still have a home here on these walls.

Thank you all for being here from a formerly silent lurker, who has now stepped out from behind the shadow of his dark passenger.
