its locked to the US so i cant watch it.. lol i really hope they weren't your knives though RB XD i would rather risk sending them to Michael C Halls house haha. i love reading through this thread....I really should start to make my own set... but i have got one issue I'm lazy... customs wouldn't help either. But seeing you on your second set DP has made me feel like i have an itch that i really should try and scratch.
 
sent one to M.C. Hall as well but just never heard or got back my knife from him.

You should try to do a set man. Seems like right now since the Mundials have been discontinued that the cleaver is very hard to get. DP snagged the last one i've seen available in a long time. if you can get ahold of that you'll be ok, as the other knives are still out there just a little more expensive on some sites now it seems.

This looks to be it. But ofcourse the prop dept made the handle black. If you look at the screen cap from the boat scene where dex is grabbing the kill knife you can see it in the left corner a bit to make out the handle details to see they match up. Ofcourse as well with the kill room pic DP posted but its a diff angle.
I measured the pockets in the messermeister roll and it measures out to be the 5 inch pick as the 8-5/8 seems to long. Unless the 5" measurement includes the handle.

Nope doesn't seem to be made in black, but an easy fix. I've looked all over so far. I too think all stainless would look sweet, but might not have as good of a grip for breaking ice. After I find out if the 5 inch is just the blade or includes the handle, I'm going to buy one and paint.

If definitely has a different finish to it than polished aluminum. more like the media blast imo.

HOLY *****!!! Thats insane. Tons of new knives...I knew there was a lumen/normal kill knife hybrid. Drew has his work cut out for him over the next year haha. I think while he does the lumen knife he also will make the option of this new one. then we need a poll which one is next. The one from tonight I think. Also need to ID the new shears..which wont be hard.
 
actually seems to be a lot of this kind of style shear....

these look damn close but im not sure about the grip on the right in Bero's pic. it seems straight down as opposed to these having a slight curve
 
Man that is an awesome looking Kit. Every one of those is totally doable now that there is no small bone saw. I hope Drew is up for it. A little at a time. Baby steps.

Getting a full kit is 100% possible.
