My friend wanted the first one I made so I gave it to him. When I get back in town tonight I'm going to start a new one and do a few more things to make the handles look better. Going to round off the edges and do the wood putty in the holes.

Hey guys. I'm very happy to say I was able to put together a second Kill Kit. I was lucky enough to find the pieces (except the ever-f@#$ing small bone saw). Even got the right Messermeister bag. Thanks to Pinder, Drewsmith, and whoever thought of using the keychain bone saw. I really like it in place of the sbs.

Noticed a few things we havent noticed before on the kill knife. The part I circled, that part of the blade meets the handle and not farther into the handle, and also the handles seem to have some kind of edge to them. wonder if this is new..?
Also, what is that all the way to the left by his hand? Can't tell. The flap does seem to be cut on the roll, if you look at the pics I posted last week you can see the zippers at the bottom which couldn't be there if there was a flap.
I want that new filet style knife!!!

I think that may be the pick up in the left. maybe the handle showing..? (in the pic above)

I have a different version of the knife roll, in that mine doesn't have zippers. Mine has velcro. Weird.

Yes I've heard about those, very weird. Another member here, Pinder, had the same thing happen to him. Keep your eye on eBay. They pop up from time to time.

I didn't realize I left it that vague. She basically said they freaked her out, especially because they were sent to her private residence. She also said she didn't want to put them back in the mail so she just sent a letter and kept them. She uses them though, apparently!
