Dexter's Kill Bag and Tools

I'm sorry man lol , I wrote that on my temporary cell phone. It is a pain in the ass to text on. I hate it. But yea that didn't make much sense lol, plus I had just woke up which didn't help. What I'm talkin about is a prop I don't think anyone has and is going to be wicked, and needs a special display like the one it was on in season 6.

yes sir! Verified to be almost an exact version of it, ofcourse needs a little modification and different color. But will come out great when its finished. Just trying to figure out what exactly each fingernail is painted. In some pics it looks like two of them are yellow but i don't think thats right, and i know from someone who had it in their possession while the display used for the show was being built the nail polish was glittery.

If the nails are painted the same as the Season 1 Ice Block the colors should be as follows, Pink on the thumb, Yellow for the pointer, Purple for the middle, Orange for the ring, and Green for the pinky. I have lots of screen caps for the Ice block. If you need one for color reference let me know and I'll email it to you. There's even a scene in Season 1 when Batista goes to Rudy's office to ask about devotees and Rudy places Batista's business card in the drawer with the nail polish bottles if you wanted to use the same manufacturer. Can't wait to see pics of it.

Hey DP, I was wondering where you got that little shelf in your detolf...

Mine is getting crowded and can use another little shelf for more room. :)

I can't find the exact auction, but try something similar to these. 6 LAYER CLEAR ACRYLIC DISPLAY RISER SHOWCASE STAND x 2 | eBay
Search for similar words and you're bound to find something.

Dude! LOL That is the longest run-on sentence ever. I can't even understand what you wrote. :facepalm

:lol That was a doozy.

I can't believe Dexter collecting has come to finding the right nail polish. :lol

lol right DP? but i had to have this prop. but yea i'm gonna feel rather weird checking out of a store with a bunch of flamboyant nail polish colors hahah. yea fluid any help would be amazing on the manufacturer if i can find them and it turns out they are glittery like i was told the real ones polish is. cause from the screen caps of the itk doll hand that was painted in this thread page http://www.therpf.com/f9/dexter-season-1-ice-truck-killer-doll-72463/index2.html i can see that indeed it is shiny and glittery, so i know the colors now, but the actual real manufacturer would be great. gotta watch that episode to see if i can tell.
and again, sorry for the run on sentence. no more posting right after i wake up using that phone again. Hooking back up my iphone. end of

OK guys some good news here, I went to talk to my machine guy about replicating the small bone saw no longer made, he said it can easily be done!! I'm going to attempt to have him make it just with the one pic DP posted a while back next to a ruler even though measurements of the length of the blade itself would be nice, and how wide the blade is from the widest part to the skinniest part, and on the handle how long the top of the handle that holds the blade goes out, and the diameter of the small hole on the handle, the measurement of where the screw goes for the blade from a certain point of the handle. this would be greatly appreciated DP if you could get any and all measurements you think are necessary to get this happening for us. I'm sure a lot of us would all be grateful to you if you could get us these measurements so this can be started. I'm stoked as i'm going to have him have a go at it for me anyways, but would be better if I had accurate measurements.

It is, but its on the hopes Tom will help us out a little. I mean I'll just buy another big bone saw and use the handle as a basis to go off of, but i would really like to know how the handle on his big bone saw and small one differ which will help a lot as well as the measurements. Any chance if you get time Tom you could do this and also take a pic of the small bone saw with the big bone saw lined up directly below it to where the end of the handles meet so i can see the difference in angles and what not? I'm sure a ton of us would greatly appreciate your help DP. I remember back when we all found out that the small bone saw was discontinued and no where to be found anywhere and so many people mentioned replicating them, including you DP :) well we have that opportunity now, half a year later yea, but there are a lot more people with kill bags now that can never truely be complete with out this. And I know a replica can be made of it if we have the proper info. Thanks.

yea i emailed them one time about one of the wine sets they sell that looked like m-99 case and they wrote back asking $180 for 1 of them. eff that

SO UPDATE on the small bone saw replica, Mike gave me basically blueprint of the saw, so all I need to find out now is how thick the handle is, and how wide it is after it narrows to where the blade is. and how wide the blade is, and pretty much a cad can be drawn up and gonna start workin on them. going to make a few in all aluminum at first for a few test runs until its almost 100% exact then will start an interest thread and start making them with the right kind of stainless steel. the small bone saw will return for those who want one.

Hey Gentleman, I just wanted to show you folks my kill tools. I've been working on it for the past few months and now it's 90% finished. All I need is the kill knife and to cut down the Global Spatula. I want to thank you guys because you put in all the hard work identifying these knives and other props. Special thanks to Rbeato and Dark Passenger.

Nice looking roll, Endo! I need to cut my spatula as well. Fingers crossed Pinder can still do them in April!

glad i could help man. i don't know how you guys fit that small bone saw in the roll as i spent countless amounts of time with no luck until i just cut the back material out of it to make it fit smoothly. is that the original accurate roll or the new one?
also have an update on the screen accurate bone saw, got ALL the info needed and then some that one would need to replicate them, my friend is doing up the cad drawings for both the blade and handle and we'll try a few first all aluminum to make sure we have it all right, and once its 99-100% an exact replica they will be made with the actual stainless steel used in the real deal....other projects in the works as well...will keep you all posted. should have something for you to see soon.
lets just hope that once the finished products are done there will be an interest in them, otherwise I know a few that will want them which is still fine.

Nice looking set Sandman! That small bone saw don't look bad in the bag. Did you restitch the pockets?

It's not a spatula! It's the "Pinder Knife".
