Dexter's Kill Bag and Tools

Large Saw, & Spatula for me. Those prices were too cheap for me to wait on the chef knives!! The Kill Knife we will have to wait on. I could use a break.

I'm going for the Bone Saw next I think.

ok boning knife just ordered so now just the saw and just the spatula left until the kill knife run :cool
 
Man, I haven't even started and you guys are ready for a break?! LOL I have too many prop/costume interests for my own good.
 
Just got a few more knives in today and waiting on 2 more.Here's a progress pic of my kill tools looking sexier :love
 
Maybe I'm just hoping for a miracle here... Since apparently in Season 5, they are using newer, still available pants, a browner colored henley, and mocha bisque boots, has anyone seen any proof that maybe they are using a newer Messermeister roll?

Honestly Pinder, a new Bag is not that big of a deal. The most noticable difference is how soft the older bags are. Other then that, they measure the same. Go for it until the older one turns up.
 
It's a good possibility that the kill bag is the newer version in season 5 but there is no shots of the bag that can confirm that.Maybe tom can help you out with a little search.

I don't know man, the shot I found out what the bag is was from Season 5 Episode 12. Unless they used an old bag because of the dirt and stuff?

Wasn't another issue the placement of the straps? More centered on the new ones and off-center on the old rolls.
 
For some reason the size of the spatula seems about the same size as the 8" bread knife.It looks to me that the spatula is raised a little in the pocket I bet any money it's an 8" not 10"....Thoughts?

I haven't seen the spatula in person, but if the "labeling" on the blade is the same on the 8 in and 10 in, then there may be room to cut the blade. Not sure if that even makes sense. LOL

I've been checking it out. I even posted in it recently. ;)

Now that I've been paying more attention, Seal Brown seems to be used the majority of the time. However, I have seen a couple scenes where I am convinced the mocha bisque was used. Those include the pics from Season 5. Either way, it is the same model boot, and as Risu posted its possible to change the color. Aside from the fact that seal brown is now discontinued. I'm happy with my purchase. No worries.
 
That makes perfect sense pinder but the reason I'm wondering is to save money on the cost of this spatula.If you see in this picture below it looks tucked in the bag nicely which makes me believe it's an 8 inch matching the bread knife.

overall length of the 8 inch spatula is 13.2 inches which makes me almost 100% positive it's the 8 inch not the 10.The 10 inch overall length is 15.2 which is way too big.I'm sure there will be enough room to cut the 8 inch blade with no problem and it's only $40 on amazon.


Measure that up also tom you'll see what I mean.
