Your right, that watch band is defiantly different. Perhaps he is wearing the watch that James Remar wears as Harry in that scene or some sort of backup watch.

I'm starting to feel bad for all these people trying to sell their Walthams on ebay only to have the same people bid ridiculous amounts and then not pay, over and over again. I only mention it because I saw the $1008 one has been relisted... wait for it... because of a non-paying buyer. Weird.

I'm not sure why someone would do this. Whoever it is is a scumbag. What satisfaction is he getting out of this? Multiple eBay accounts just to jack a price up on a watch?

It's probably the tron guy lol. It's pretty **** they are doing this! Grow up. It wouldnt be the seller trying to jack the price up in hope of some more cash? I doubt it but its possible

No it's not the sellers. The last few auctions had the same person doing this by looking at the bidding history.
I'm trying to track him down now by contacting the previous sellers. As I've proven I can find almost anything online and I will find out who it is. I'm 100% sure it's an RPF member but I have no proof....... yet.
Unless that person wants to man up and come forward now and explain himself?

Yeah right. We both know said person won't come forward. But as I have long suspected, we both agree on the culprit. This is also the same person that I believe was a former member here... until they were banned.

that murphyzp12 told told me he had 2 accounts when i told him i was going to have him kicked off ebay and he just laughed, it is sad, the seller that has that gold one that has been re-listed so many times is going to just keep it because he is sick of being screwed over, i don't see the point in it, hate towards others who want them and they can't buy one? who knows, its ridiculous though, seriously, i know one of the names, but not the other 2, if it wasn't for these 3 accounts a lot more people most likely on here that actually want the watch would probably be able to get them. :::shakes head in discust:::

Its the same with any thing. Same thing happend over on the slasher forum guys, someone IDed the the original knife used on the freddy glove. I can say i now own one of the knivesi am happy but i couldnt own 4 for a whole glove. Guys were going around buying the knife for 10 bucks each and bought them all. i got mine for 150. i wont list what it is dont want to spread it even further but thats what you get in this hobby rare items and greedy (&*^* wanting to sell them at high prices.

Then i find about about some guy buying them all after i joined here. Its prety dissapointing to say the least.

Ive been reading this over and wow 1000$ for a watch that's not even the right one as rebeato said plus it was made like in the 60s.

well that particular watch has inconsistentcies with it but still, but all the waltham 25j's being spoken of here are from the 70's, it literally made me so pissed when i read yesterday that watch was re-listed, cause when it was at a $1,000 that Murphy12 guy had the high bid, so when i saw someone with positive feedback win i was like poor guy has to pay that much, but atleast the seller will be happy, but nooo they get screwed over. i literally don't understand the fact of how you can not leave negative feedback on their accounts after opening a case against them, and i thought if you had more than 3 cases opened against you that you got suspended and eventually kicked off. but these guys never seem to, and keep ruining it for others.

I'm not in any rush to get the watch I need to finish the tools and get the box first. Guess its good to wait awhile.
