Nice to see a change in serial killera to a Russian Mob type. Its well known the mob has always had very good ways of torture and killing, and I'm sure Ray Stevenson will play the part well. I ofcourse highly doubt it will just be "the leader" of the syndicate that shows up in Miami, therefore Dexter will have to deal with the entire syndicate. The first episode as well they will be focusing A LOT or mostly on Dex & Debs childhood which is really good as it is much needed. Sounds like they are starting off on the right foot. And I can get behind Dex facing a big crime syndicate. He has always dealt with gangs and such but nothing like these guys, so I say bring it on.

interesting look on dexters face to say the least.
what was mentioned about whats coming up with the situation "She now has to deal with what she's seen and what she knows. And it forces him to defend and define himself." it's obvious she won't arrest him since he will be goin after stevenson's character. more likely has to some how deal with what he is. i think the reason he has been planting the thought "everything isnt so black and white" in her head.

Season 5 was definitely disappointing as a follow-up to Season 4. "Dexter couldn't have killed his wife because he was at Arthur Mitchell's house," but nobody questions why he was there before the strike team arrived? And, despite his methods, Quinn suspects Dexter is "person of interest" Kyle Butler, and nobody follows up on that?? And Quinn just drops the whole thing despite his strong suspicion and dislike of Dexter??? :facepalm
The show's writers sure come up with some convenient loopholes that allow Dexter to escape time after time, and I'm guessing Season 7 won't be any different. Dex will come up with some kind of weak explanation regarding Travis Marshall and Deb will believe it because a) Dexter's her brother, b) she's in love with him, and c) accepting the fact that he's a serial killer would be far more difficult for her than believing whatever story he tells her. And by the end of the first or second episode it'll be back to business as usual at Miami Metro with both the police and Dexter tracking down the "big bad" of the season.

I much prefer how Debra knowing was handled in the books. Debra was awake when Brian is trying to get Dexter to kill her, so she found out he's a serial killer at the end of the first book. Makes her far less incompetent than she and Miami Metro are on the show.

Not sure if you guys noticed but the stage markings on the floor indicate the two will come closer to each other, and judging by feet positions and directions of the marks it looks like a kiss.
Don't judge me if I'm wrong, but it seems like the type of clue Dexter would find in this photo!

should be a good 2 final season. I am one that just hopes and will be pissed if they kill him in the end. He is too clever to end up in jail or dead imo. Yea he has made some poor choices as of late but when it comes down to it i think he'll pull off what he needs to to survive.

Yeah I agree with that, I don't feel like he should be killed in anyway as like you said he only gets smarter and it just wouldn't make sense.
