DETLOF Sale at Ikea

I don't know if it's just in the Ikea by me....but these Detlofs were on sale for $39.99. Great for displaying your collectibles....

Yea, I just went to the ikea in Emryville, California and they were $40 there having a sale because there remodeling there showcase floor!!!

OK...some clarification for all the confusion...

I went to the Ikea in NY (USA). Also, only the Black-Brown colored Detlof was $39.99 (brand new...not off the show-floor or anything). That tells me that maybe that particular color wasn't selling and they're trying to get rid of some extra stock.

To save some folks the trip to Ikea, perhaps you want to call your local store and ask first....

Its a shame they don't ship reasonable. I really want one, but I'm in St. Louis, so the closest IKEA is Chicago. They want almost $300 for shipping.

It might be store specific then with so many stores declaring a no-sale. I'm in NY if that helps anyone...
