Destiny: the sword of Crota replica

Hi everyone!

Here's my latest finished prop, the sword of Crota from Destiny.

Its 1:1 scale at roughly 4ft in length and 1ft wide, hand sculpted out of a block of modelling foam and cold cast in aluminium filled resin.

nice! any thought to embedding some LEDs into the casting and getting some inner glow action going on?

I considered that but I opted for phosphorescant powder in the end instead as im not that great with electronics yet

I love it!Is it solid rest in or did you give it a soft/hollow core?

its got a foam-it expanding foam core to keep the weight and costs down due to its size.
It still feels pretty substantial though!
