Finally posting my Destiny prop projects which I started about 8 months ago.

To see pics of the entire builds go here:

OhhhhhMYGOD that's awesome. I am so beyond jealous, the assets you must have access to... *cries*

But no really, that's some great work, on part of the props and even more so on the game. I love it so much.

I just realized I haven't set up my signature yet, but I'm working on my own build for the Manifold Seeker set. It's slow going though since everything is based on the few pictures of it available, and I haven't even found the helmet in game yet.

Thanks!
There are a lot of really good reference images out there of Destiny stuff. As for Manifold Seeker, have you seen these? (scroll down page)

Yep, those are the ones I've been using. Along with the ones from here. And the model viewer on DestinyDB, although it's at really poor resolution.

Maybe you can answer this: Why are 90% of all rare ships brown? I would have thought the common ships would be brown and the rare ones all nice and colorful! :lol

Ooooooh the things I would do for those guns haha! Fantastic work! I just finished my warlock costume recently as well.

Just finished modeling these two:

(I had to model them myself since I'm no longer at Bungie. Turtle Rock now)

They're both ready for 3d print. All I need now, is a 3D printer!
(Can't decide between Printrbot Metal Plus or Maker Gear M2. Printrbot is cheaper and has bigger build area, but it's slower. The M2 is always highly reviewed and is known to be great, but it's $500 more).

M2, because then we can be like M2 buddies. Mine's printing bits for my Duke/Little Voice/Mos Ganon/Timur's Lash etc right now. :)

Oof...this is great work and I'm envious as hell of your resources too, haha. Still around/doing any Destiny stuff, and did you get yourself a printer yet?

I ended up getting the Metal Plus, and I've been printing like mad for the last month:

I've been reprinting some parts, and I've got the double-action trigger working. I've also started filling/sanding some of the parts

How's the Printrbot stuff? Glad you didn't go Makerbot, I wince every time someone does.

Very, very nice. I've got trigger and hammer movement and a working crane, but never got around to a proper action.

PS are your props done to the full in-game size? Lots of people shrink them down, but I've done mine at the actual scale and it fits my hand fine. I don't have big hands at all!

Thorn and The Last Word are small. Or at least they're the proper size of a .44 magnum. -They feel just right in your hands. -About 14" long. I adjusted the original 3D models to have a proper grip size. I should have just scaled them both up, but oh well.

Hawkmoon is very close to in-game size.
