Destiny Hunter: Tactical Gloves?

Hey guys, I feel kinda silly being on here because I am in no way as talented as all of you! But this is the source for pros and learners alike so I shouldn't worry! I'm currently in a slow process of my first complex cosplay of a hunter from Destiny. Being that I am rather girly and petite, I'm having trouble finding some of the accessories needed for the build that would be my size, such as gloves similar to a protective tactical/paintball glove referenced here:

I'm just looking for some insight on what I should look for ( I could just be using the wrong words ), or if there's a mock-up technique I could do that wouldn't be too difficult. I'm new to armor-making and I don't have access to a lot of the equipment you guys use so any direction would be awesome. I really appreciate the help, guys!

No problem. Revzilla has good customer service, so if you don't like what you get you can exchange or refund it easily. Pretty good prices too. You can find a lot of motorcycle gear that will work well for cosplay (goggles, undergarments) - it is real life armor after all

Worst case scenario, you could pick up some of those cotton winter gloves, wrap them with some leather or pleather, and use plastic egg carton bits painted or textured with fabric for the knuckle cups. Getting a pair of the touch screen ones could add a neat effect to the gloves (multi-colored) and allow you to use your phone while in costume.
