I've been wanting to do this cosplay for a while, and I've been running into the same dilemma over and over again. In Sandman many of the characters have a lot of different "looks" and I'm realizing there's a lot of different ways I could go. Most cosplayers I've seen when searching online haven't even replicated a specific look, so much as put together other costumes that-while not replicas from the comics- still seem completely accurate to the character.
Has anyone here had to make this decision, of putting together one costume for a character who has looked many different ways? I really can't make up my mind of whether to me accurate or creative with this one.
