I was watching Defying Gravity the other night with my wife. Someone should really do a study on why great, story driven sci-fi shows never last more than a few episodes... :confused
Anyway, we came to a scene where Paula is recording a message to her classroom on Earth and (to my great surprise) I realized the camcorder she's holding is identical to the one sitting right next to my chair!
Screen caps should be attached (unless I messed something up) :confused
99% sure that Paula's camcorder is an Insignia HD Digital Camcorder, with chrome tape covering the company logo and HD symols on the sides. In the last screencap you can even see the embossed Insignia logo showing through the tape a bit. The model is discontinued, but there's still a page for it on Insignia's site (http://insigniaproducts.com/products/digital-cameras/NS-DCC5HB09.html) with a 360 spinning view.
For any interested Canadian fans out there, I picked mine up at Futureshop earlier this year. No longer for sale on their site, but you might still be able to score one in store.
Now, off to the hardware store to find some chrome tape and make this thing screen accurate...
