Er... you guys know Greg Broadmore is behind the design of WETA's Dr. Grordbort's Rayguns, right? Those are props - or pieces of art - that are commercially available.

I would so love to have a replica of this gun with internal lighting to match what we see on screen. Please somebody do this.
The Bluray has some really good pics of that particular gun from different angles. That would be tricky to get the front of the gun to look like it did in the movie.

Anyone know how to take screen grabs from a bluray disk?? I have Powerdvd8 and it won't do it.

...he is the license holder for D9. I'd think he's also the money behind the Weta rayguns too.
