Death Trooper Armour for a 10 year old - Foam, Card or 3D

Hi all
My 10 year old nephew has asked me to make him a Death Trooper costume.
I'm OK-ish with foam, but would love advice on the best route forwards. If you think foam is a good bet, can anyone point me towards paper templates that I can use? Or would you go down the 3D route? More nervous about taking this on, as I've never assembled or finished any 3D parts before.
Any advice or pointers would be massively appreciated. Once I finish the build, I'll post shots to this thread.
Thanks
Bryan

Why not all? For something like the helmet I would probably go the 3D route, but for armor pieces you can go with either pepakura or foam, as the design is simpler. Printing takes a long time, so to get the armor done quicker, the other options might be best and they might be stronger overall than a 3D print. At least that's my thoughts.

Sadly, don't know where to find the plans for the Death Trooper armor and helmet, but good luck with the project.
