Death Star tiles size (1/144)

Hi,

I've almost finished the painting job of my 1/144 FineMolds Millenium Falcon. It was a joy to paint it !!

Now I would like to scratchbuild a base for it, and I would like to do some death star tiles. But what about the size of these tiles ???
I saw lots of picture on the web, but nothing really clear for me to determine good size. So what are the correct size for one tile in 1/144 scale???

I'm not sure what the size would be, but the new Bandai 1/72 models have Death Star tiles as the base. If you figure out the dimensions for a 1/44 version of the tiles from there

I would have thought a gloss black floor like the landing bay of the death star would be more appropriate for the MF.

They're certainly not accurate (they aren't supposed to be) but these are a quick and cheap alternative. PM me if you're interested or only want a few tiles. I think they're pretty close to 1/144 scale.
