DEATH STAR TILES 3D FOR FREE

Hi,
I am following this forum for a long time as an amateur modeler. Did not subscribe till today

I am trying to learn Blender so I designed some Death Star tiles. I used banda i tiles as a reference. Kind of amateur job not big deal.

You can download for free from link below.
I do not have a 3d printer so i didn't have a chance to see the results, maybe anyone can try and share and give me some feedback.

These ones cam out fine. the other two I will show you tomorrow how it looks in the slicing program.
These are `76mm square or 3".

I have found that the dark areas do not print, not sure what causes this. Maybe some one could tell me why?

I would guess that's a case of "inverted normals" - some faces in the mesh have their outsides pointing inside...

i merged two objects while doing those two. Interesting. I can send original blender files if you like.
