Deal gone Bad with radion

I lost contact With Radion
Hopefully he will update on here about the stuff he still owes

And still waiting on the armour.

12 months since original purchase.

3 months since it was meant to have been posted.
Well.... You posted this question three weeks ago,
And it shows on his profile that he last logged in three weeks ago.
So he obviously saw this thread and the questions and then never came back.
I just cannot understand why sellers that get overwhelmed and behind, always hide.
Why not just communicate daily and be honest? Hiding and avoiding people only looks bad. Step it up and be an adult.... Grow a backbone and openly update these threads.

Michael's contact of late for myself has been great via Facebook.

Still waiting on photos, but I'm hoping that all of this will be sorted soon.

Will update again once more develops/when item arrives to me.

Well I'll be meeting John DiMaggio at a convention at the beginning of April.

Radion has assured me that the armour will arrive to me in time to wear it to this convention.

sadly no new news got some promisses from him but lost conatct 2 weeks ago
tried to mail him , contact on facebook and even via phone but nothing.

Same thing happening with him over at AliensLegacy forums. Someone paid Radion for a couple of pulse rifle slings and no contact for a couple of weeks.

Just found this post, I'm the one who's missing the slings off the Alien Legacy forums. Not impressed I have to start chasing you cross forums Radion.
Shame I didn't find this beforehand, wouldn't have touched him with a ten foot barge pole.

Mods on Alien Legacy contacted.

Hello

i would like to set up a list of people and what radion needs to deliver
I wanted to do this in the first post so please post here so I can get the list ready

No problem

king_p90 (on alien legacy): 2x used Matt Noble pulse rifle slings £33 inc P&P, paid on the 13/2/14.

As a newbie to the boards this sort of thing really worries me. I doubt very few of us are rich with money falling out of our butts. I'd venture a guess that a majority of us have to save money for props and our builds and can't afford to be swindled. As a newbie on the forum how is one supposed to know who to do business with and who to avoid? Do the moderators ban those that rip people off or is it simply buyer beware?

Here is a good first step

Pay only with paypal, if they ask for a gift say no and tell them to add the paypal fees onto the price otherwise no deal. Once you have paid do not let the buyer make shipping excuses, if they drag their feet and nothing shows up after a few weeks month+ then immediately file complaint through paypal but DO NOT let it go past that (edit) 20 day period otherwise your SOL. Also pay with your CC through paypal that way if paypal somehow screws you because of a phoney tracking number you can do a charge back through your account. Lastly keep record of all communications through whatever you use may it be PM or emails.

Thanks Tim. I've done a lot of business on eBay over the years and only ran into one problem there but they have the feedback stuff to help. Bought a pair of BTTF Air Mags, paid via PayPal and then had the seller try to back out of the deal, offering me Air Jordans instead. After I filed a complaint with PayPal I did get my shoes. Just wasn't sure how everything works on this site.

All great tips Tim Allen but you might want to check that 90 day claim period. PayPal only allow you 45 days to make a claim.........anything after that you are on your own. That was the only way I ended up getting my money back from Radion by making a PayPal claim.......and this was probably over a year ago so he has obviously not changed his attitude much. Every excuse under the sun!!!

I'm sad to say, that's my experience too unfortunately. I sent £600 for a costume on Jan 7th and only just got the money returned to my account from Paypal today.

Update

i just got some information from radion so the HIC seams to be in the works
saw so e pictures of a bad cast which he didn't deliver because of resin not curing out

so it seams that he is still in it
waiting on a final delivery and will update here again

Sadly haven't heard anything, if anyone has further details on Mr Purcell (ie: address, phone, etc) please PM me, as I intend to report him for fraud to Liverpool Police.

Out of interest what paypal address did people pay too\paid from. The address I paid to starts with guilty_spark_0343 registered to James Grif Cox.

Thanks to someone who will remain anonymous I now have full address, etc for Radion.

However, I have got in touch with James Cox, who has contacted Michael, and apparently he has posted the slings (we shall see).
