Dawn of Justice Batman armor build

After much thought I've decided to build the batman armor from the Dawn of Justice movie. I'm pretty happy about the files I found just hope I can do them some justice (pun intended). I'm going to pep out the helmet and do the armor in cardboard and resin w/ body filler. I'll be posting updates periodically throughout the weekend. My goal is to be ready to harden the helmet by Monday.

Why don't you share photos of first two try. There is a lot of people here which can give you a suggestion.

Finally had some time to make changes I wanted and rebuild. As of right now it just has its first coat of resin. Tomorrow I'll fiberglass the inside and then start with bondo. I took photos of the other helmet I started as well so you can see the difference in the files.

1st two photos are the new helmet
2nd two are the old old helmet

Well into adding 1st coat of filler starting to lose some of the small details so I'm going to go back through with putty and build up some areas before moving forward

Pretty much finished with first coat of filler there are still some areas I need to build up with putty before I add the second coat. I've also started making the chest piece as well I'm hoping to be finished with it today I'll post more photos later on

Good news is I finished the chest piece....bad news is it's too big. I'm still fairly new to this. Not sure where I messed up. I measured from arm pit to armpit and I got it with 10 mm but as you can tell from the photo it's way too large. I'll keep trying. Hopefully third times a charm!
