Thanks. In fact it's a lot easier than I imagined. My first vinyl kit was Harryhausen's Medusa and as I had never worked with it I was bit "worried". After all is no big deal: paint aplies well and when parts don't fit (as in a regular plastic kit) you heat them and mold them (sometimes putty in necessary). The hard part is to cut off all the excess vinyl
I now am used to vinyl and like to work with it (after Medusa, I also made the Facehugger, the Cyclops, now working on Darth Vader and next project is the Chestburster)
Thanks
Looks great! Love the contrast in black finish! Only thing I would change would be lighten the scars on his head. Looks too fresh with blood.
Other than that GREAT JOB! :thumbsup

Very nice indeed ... I have got the same vinyl kit alas the dome is rather warped ... any suggestions how to fix this?
Hi there
Thanks. I had the exact same problem. Solved it by sinking the dome in hot water for a few moments. When it came out it was so soft I could give it any shape I wanted. I waited a bit and still holding it in the correct shape I sank it in cold water.
Hope that helps.
