Darth Vader ROTJ Reveal mask My build

That means that its not the standard VP that you can see on the propden. From what I know the standard has no mounting and no cutted out chin vent.
So I think it was part of a complete helmet in the past.

Interesting. I wasn’t aware there were different versions of the VP made.

I´ve heared that they also casted one with mounting and cutted out vent. But I have no clue who and at what timeframe that was.
For me only the quality of the cast is interesting and this is really excellent.(y)

It certainly shows the traits of an authentic cast. Superb! This will be something special !
Can you offer some tips on the steps in making the cuts. I’m about to do the same on my cast as I start my build, thanks to you ;)
Do you cut the lower tusk tubes off first ?
What tools did you use. I have purchased an extra fine saw. It that the best to use?
Much appreciated for any advice you can give

Hi...I´m sick now.And I hate it.:(

but I will show something new very soon. Its also a problem that its very cold now..not good for cutting fiberglass exact outside the house.

I forgot to say that you're also not alone. everyone has been sick lately. Even I don't feel 100 percent right now.

I'm not familiar with vader reveal stuff, but for guitar making I use similar things and we call that vintage braided wire, hope this helps

Thanks for the tip...but the wire is round...for around a cable or something. This here are flat like the bigger batterycables in the lower section of the mask.

I have a theory: maybe the string is a vintage braided guitar string but they removed the inside wire and just took the casing flattened them and put them on the mask.

Edit: sorry the arrows are so bad, I did them on my tablet

Great idea froggy. But the wires are braided like braid. And they are too thin for a cable inside.
