Darth Vader Lightsaber Assistance: Grip Adhesive?

Hello RPF.
First, I hope that I am putting this in the right section, if I am not please move to the appropriate location. Second I am hoping someone can help. I am currently working on a Darth Vader style light saber. The main body is a chrome sink tube. I cut and reshaped an old floor mat for the grips (They turned out better than expected). What would be a good adhesive to use to attach the grips to the tube? Super glue is a no go. Regular double sided tape is a no go. Would Gorilla glue work for this, or does someone have a different technique that would work? The last time I added grips to any of my props, I got them from Yodahouse (Not to date myself). I have not been able to find that type of adhesive though.

It has been a while since I posted anything on this board, so any help would be appreciated.

I've heard people highly recommend E6000 adhesive. Apparently holds well but can be removed with no damage to the prop.

Hollywood & halliwax: Thanks. I have never heard of that one. I will look into it! Thank you again.
