Darth Vader ANH saber parts?

Having just become the proud owner of a very cool MPP replica, I now need to finish it off.

I was wondering what opinions you might have about the best clamps/grips/etc. around, and my odds of finding some. :)

I know it's probably been covered to death, but forgive me....I'm new. :)

Thanks!

Hi there,

GINO's GRIPS are the most accurate even on a MPP replica :love

And don't forget the replica bubbles by Philip of Rebelscum:

Just cut one bubble off leaving you with six bubbles left and put in your clamp for a perfect fit. Vader only had 6 bubbles on his saber.

And finally Blast-Tech for all the other parts. Do you have an emitter shroud with the D-Ring already attached? If not you'll need a D-Ring as well. Or perhaps the whole shroud like this :

I've got this one on my first Heiland and it looks exactly the same as my MPP shroud even the screw attached on top was not correctly symmetrically lined up ... just like the real screw on my original vintage MPP.

And don't you mind if, when working on it, you make scratches in the chrome finish it only adds to the USED FUTURE look and the character of the lightsaber :love

I'm afraid it appears that John over at Blast-Tech.com is out of the game for many of his items, including the Vader shrouds. I have had an order in with him for a few months for a Vader shroud w/ D-ring, and after telling me more than a month ago he was finding it difficult to find the time to cast any more of them I found my payment refunding in this morning's email by PayPal.

If you're looking for items from him then I'd get whatever he still has in stock before they're gone.

Best,

Terry
