Finally finished my first pepakura project. Darth Revan's mask, with the excellent pepakura model from Fierfek.
Here are the photos I took of progress.
Lessons learned:
The visor was made from a doubled later of a motorcycle visor insert. I was going to put a layer of tights behind it but found two layers hid my eyes. There are three tiny magnets glued in the top, and three on the front piece of a headlamp headband. It wobbles but it doesn't come off. I'm quite happy with my work. Now I have a lot of costume to make.
Build was card, pva, tape, masking tape, various other terrible glues, fibre glass resin, fibre glass, rondo (fibreglass and bondo mix), bondo, grey primer, car body paint, red acrylic, semi-gloss clear coat, foam, motorcycle visor inlay, magnets, and a Petzel headlamp headband.

Lessons learned:
- You don't need as much tape as you think to help you, use pva glue, it stays stuck and dries fast.
- Don't put the bondo layer on too thick, there's only so much time you can devote to sanding.
- If you tire of a tricky part of your pepakura, take a break, a night, a week, a fortnight, then come back to it.
