Darth Revan Lightsaber Project.

After looking around for a Darth revan saber for ages, I came up short. So I decided to have a go myself.

I took an Image from the visual dictionary and transfered the shape and dimensions to graphpaper to the scale I wanted the saber to be.

Luckily as an Aeronautical Engineer, I have access to a machine shop where the guys are time served Apprentices and very good at what they do. Some times they'll take commissions if they're interested; luckily for me one of the guys liked the idea and set to work. Numerous phone calls and trips to the shop later he was done; in all the project took 8 months!!!

They still need to be anodised in order to get the right accented colours but here's what I've got so far:

Those are pretty sweet, i'd have the making graflexes, or old bens.

Wow ... I'd say .... your lightsaber is spot on indeed ... looking forward to see it finished ... will you add some weathering to give it more character?

Thank you. It'll be anodised and then weathered naturally to give it the right look.

Stalled on the anodising at the moment, so it's gonna have to wait until the New Year :facepalm
