Darth Revan in making.

So I started to create a Darth Revan costume.

The early stage, without the forehead part. It was a mistake to not do that part in one piece, so after I had to correct my error with paper mache. The mask itself is EVA foam. I coated the mask with wood glue and then paint with acrylic paint. Silver spray and red and black non spray. The vizor is a piece of plastic painted with sharpie marker. (not in this pic btw)

But in this one! And I attached to my head with a rubber band.

Hi gentlepoak and welcome aboard ... great start of a rather rare costume ... can't wait to see his full costume with lightsaber :)

I like the detailing you did with the foam! Revan is one of my all time favorites, and I think I just found the motivation to finally push a project to the front of the line while I'm waiting on some items....

UPDATE!

So, I worked on the costume, and this is where I am at the moment. The chest piece is missing, and bits are a little bit off. That's because I worked mostly from materials that I found at home. But, I really pleased with it. For my very first cosplay, I think, this is good. The missing parts will come later.

WIP of my own Revan, though missing pieces..
Was wondering how you did the belt bit? is it all one piece or different ones layered/ put together? Need to find an easier *and comfier* way too do the black bits attaching to the loop as for the moment they tie at my back making sitting down *if I want to sit back anyway* not a comfortable thing

It's a big rectangle really with a curve. I hot glued two buckle to both end, so it can join at the back. The small rings are attached with hot glue and a piece of wire. And the big O ring is attached with that two black things :D and some superglue. Mine is very uncomfortable too, pushing my guts all around when I sit down. :D I usually take it off if I want to sit, or I try to sit with a straight back. If you want, I can make some pictures of the belt (or other pieces) to give you a closer look.

Very nice! Did you use some kind of template/plan for the helmet, or did you eyeball it and create it yourself?

I got the idea from "The Creation Nest" facebook page, but I only did the lower part of the mask, and I modified some things on it. So 50% other template, 50% my ideas.

Yes please that would be great :3

Sorry for the delay, but there you go. Some pictures :D If you have any question feel free to ask.

By the way, I removed the visor from the mask and the foam padding, cuz' I want to replace them. And I need, to attach something to the top of the chestplate, because I want to hang it on my neck.
