Darth Maul Costume Display -must see post #97!!!!!!

Not just yet. Although I have to say from what I've seen it's going to knock your socks off if you're a maul fan.[/b]

Yup, I was lucky enough to see this new sculpt in person recently and it looked amazing. :thumbsup

Unfortunately, there is nothing about the promo maul statue that is correct. Fabrics nor patterns. My friend has one and its great for a display piece, but nothing like the original costume.[/b]
Bummer :(

Here's hoping you'd be making your costume available in the future...

Why not wait till 100%? Trust me, I wanna see it, but 99% is just sooooooooooo close. Ask any of my girlfriends. I hate being teased. :lol You've been teasing us for a while now with this masterpiece. Please be kind. :thumbsup

Can't help it. I'm too excited and it might be awhile until I get that last part completed.
I finally bulked up the mannequin to Ray Park specs so it actually looks like a person wearing the costume instead of a scarecrow.
The only thing missing is the cuff on the base gloves.

Here's a couple of new pics.
I've added the inner robe which is about 70% complete.

Still waiting for the cuff part of the gauntlet to be made.
I'm waiting until then to create the hands of the mannequin.
Other than that, its done.

Can't wait to put a head on this thing.

Very stunning work. Love the detail and feel of the whole ensemble. Great work..

Not sure if I missed it, but did you create that wire frame mannequin? If so, can you share any tips? I've built PVC mannequins, but am looking for some more flexibility.
