darlek parts needed

helllo I have a friend who is intrested in building his own darlek but is having trouble finding the hemisperical spheres that go around the body he is baised in the uk can anybody help

To reduce costs most people usually make their own using a simple heat form rig but the originals probably used EMA domes.

there may be other suppliers,when I did mine I got a local plastic fabricator to blow mould them.

When the legal eagles are scouring the various bulletin boards-- using the search function to find any talk of their clients' properties-- maybe it's a good idea to throw in a little misspelling as chaff to their radar. There's a whole Darlek-building subculture in the UK-- look at www.projectdalek.com. Every bit of info you'd ever need is there.

just joined the forum so a bit late with a reply. if your mate is building an nsd dalek, you can get the plastic hemispheres from vending machines. but you have to pick the machines that stock the 95mil spheres and they've got toys inside them.
