Here are the inner piece being test fit.

A look down the tube showing the M10 threaded bar and nut holding it all together.

After the test fit I got the blow torch on the inner tube to create the blue heat damage effect as seen on the original prop.
then used a bit of scotch brite the bring the ridge back to a bare metal, a comparison before it did the second.

I have now finished the buttons which leaves the little slide piece to finish.

All turned in aluminium and screwed on, considered glue down to the main body.
As is shown in the photos one is bolted on using a M3 bolt. The others I glued in a small set screw in the back. I decided seen as it was not a super critical connection that would be simpler than a very shallow M3 and M2 tapped hole.
