Dark Knight Cowl WIP

Hey Everyone,

Got a little tired of my iron man suit. so I've put it off for a while. Ive decided to give the Dark Knight Cowl a go. I started with a pep file i found on the net and then applied resin and fiberglass and of course bondo. I started it last wednesday and am almost finished. I plan to make a mold and cast latex or some form of rubber... perhaps silicone not sure yet. Im not to familiar with the casting part yet.

i have probably the same pep file... and i was wondering if you have attempted to place that on your head yet?? and if so... what size is your head...
and one more question...

what were your parts layout assembled sizes???

I printed it as it was, if i had scaled it it probably would have fit.. and i have a big head lol no idea of the size...

i hope I'm answering your last question right but i printed straight from the pep file and constructed it that way. if you wanted to fit you could increase the size of the papers percentage. don't make it look too big though. i thought i might fit if it was cast in rubber, latex or silicone.

but further down the track i will see how that test works. Cheers

Just did some more work on my cowl, its a lot of fun but bond work is annoying... but for my first prop seen through from pep to smooth bond work its paying off. Still a lot of work to do.
