Okay, I've got a question. I've been going back and watching the original 3 seasons. This is my first rewatch of them, but there is something I don't understand. What happened between season 2 and season 3? Season two ends with Electra dead and he finally tells Karen "I am Daredevil" and it ends. Then Season three starts up with Matt supposedly dead, they're saying a building collapsed on top of him. WTF happened? Did I miss an episode or what? I don't remember S2 ending with a building falling on him. Am I crazy? What happened? And why doesn't he still have the suit? I'm only on Episode 3 of the third season, does it go back and tell what happened?.....Or, did The Defenders happen between season one and two? I'm lost. My memory is not what it used to be.

That was my exact experience as well. Then I vaguely recalled that the old Netflix MCU series had a bit of crossover between them all, so I figured that I probably didn't watch one of them, or I just didn't remember a lot of it - that was quite some time ago. And no, they don't go back and explain what happened - you would have to figure out which series those events transpired in to see them (I didn't bother to make the effort). Plus, I don't think Elektra was actually dead - if you recall, she was placed in that "vessel" at the end of season 2. And if I remember correctly, Matt makes some kind of reference about being with her before the building collapse.

I experienced a similar problem when I started watching Born Again - there are references to storylines involving Wilson Fisk that I was unaware of, because I never watched the Hawkeye series, or Echo. Kind of frustrating.

Yeah, back when it originally aired, there was decent build up/marketing for the The Defenders as the big cross over. At that time, I'm not even sure season 3 was greenlit. If it was, they weren't exactly pumping that. Netflix was hyping their own little MCU. IIRC, Disney starting forcing the end of Netflix's universe right about the time Daredevil season 3 was getting completed. So, they built their universe, did their first crossover, and and in an odd parallel, the building fell on them, not just the defenders.
