It's not so much him I'm no thrilled about but it's the writing. I love Dame Judy as M but ever since the first movies she was in the part hasn't been the same. These are the first bond films I don't rush out to buy.
Let's not also forget the Casino Royale with David Niven as it's a classic lol. I actually have the dvd that comes with an old 1950s live tv broadcast of Casino Royale that has Peter Lorre in it.
Craig is my favorite. Sorry Sean. Moore I liked until I watched Sean, then I didn't like Moore. Then a few years ago I saw Moore in an interview and as a person I thought he was fantastic. Still Craig is my favorite.
Glad to hear it. I enjoy Craig as Bond just as I enjoyed Connery (up until Never Say Never Again) and Moore (up until A View to a Kill). I enjoyed Dalton as Bond even though the movies weren't the best Bond movies ever. I liked Brosnan (up until Tomorrow Never Dies).
I didn't even mind Lazenby.
Never Say Never again was Connery needing cash fast lol. I mean it's just a remake of thunderball. Lazenby would have been great if they hadn't replaced him so fast, poor guy never got a chance.
Sadly I think Connery jumped the shark with DAF. I agree with you on Brosnan though, the only one of his I really like is Goldeneye.
Slightly off topic but does anyone else miss Desmond as Q? I always get the creeps when in his last appearance (which was to be him retiring as Q) he talks about having a way out only to have him die in that accident during post production.

Yeah I think Cleese would have been really good at it too. Too bad they aren't using him as Q in the new films.
I'm happy with this. I think Daniel Craig is a great Bond. Not quite Sean Connery, but hey, not many men are.
