Hello!
These are my replicas of the Daily Prophet.
Printed on recycled paper, and with gold foil applied.
All pages where made in Illustrator and Photoshop.
Here are all of the pages created:
Thanks my friend! I forgot to say the size of them!
They were printed on A3 sheets, on both sides. Then, I bind 2 sheets together to form folios, and crop a bit... So the final, open, size is almost an A2, don't know if this is the full size...
These were printed on a laser printer (toner), don't know the model, but the ink have a matte finish, really pretty :3
May i ask what process you used to apply the gold foil? Did you get a full foil block made or have you found an interesting method of producing short run foil? Apologies if this is a trade secret, i'm just curious.

Thanks Krats! Not a secret at all!
I don't know if this is the best method, but it worked for me:
I print all in black a laser printer.
I use a clothes iron (cotton temperature) to apply the foil.. don't have a laminator...
I cut small pieces of foil and carefully pass just the tip of the iron for small details. sometimes I use a "greaseproof paper" on bottom so the toner on the back doesn't glue on the floor.. and on the top, so the heat isn't too direct. pretty handwork
I also use some extra paper pieces to protect some parts from the foil..
For the gold "P" on some editions I actually used something like this picture:
Then I apply the foil and draw a little line on it, with nankin so it looks like this:
Don't have pictures of the whole process, but next time I'll try to take some,
Hope I helped!
