Cyborg Ninja/Grey Fox Helmet WIP

Newer to the RPF

Alright so this is prob my first real prop build. Ive done an Iron Man helmet out of foam, an arc reactor and a Zero(borderlands2) foam helmet but this will be my first using resin/fiberglass and bondo.
Started off with the pep file from pandamajik and had to modify it a little bit to fit my big ol head(its a curse)
These are reference for the suit once I finish the helmet

Resin coated outside. Stole my cats scratch post. He wasnt too happy about that

Heres what I used after a trip to wally world


This is the second coat of bondo/buildup i believe. Third coat and spot filling is dried and ready for sanding. More updates after that. Then will prob get some clay to help build up and smooth out also on top of the bondo. Then might bondo on top of the clay. Not sure if this will work or not.
Any tips are welcome. I know its not perfect yet as this is my first go with bondo so be kind haha

Update:
Took a break from the helmet to work on the costume. This a completely freehand build cause there arent any templates that I can find out there. Which im perfectly fine with. Ill be using basketball court foam from toys r us. Thanks to my boy Durkness for that tip.
First of started with the torso

Had my wife take a pic of the back so I could tell how I needed to make the back fit together. Hard to do alone haha

Here it is with the buckle on the inside under arm to slip in easily

Then started building up the different levels to give it a better feel. Hard to see in the court paint

These are the original shoulders I made. Tried to make them more rounded but that was the hard part. Will prob get remade soon

Then the biceps(again hard to see the detail with the pattern on them)

And them all on. Excuse the goofy looks my wife was laughing at me. Will be adding another piece for under my neck to fill that empty spot

And got the arms and torso piece in primer. Been raining almost everyday this week so no more paint yet

They do look alot more metal when they are in primer. Legs to be coming soon and all the ab muscles and side muscles will be glued on an undershirt.

How big did you make the helmet? I wanna try doing this and I printed that same pdo and folded and everything and..... It was too small. Dx
And awesome job so far! Cant wait to see the armor after being painted.
