I agree. That CG Yoda (as articulate as it is) from the EP1, 2 and 3 just doesn't quite sell it the way the puppet from the 1980's did.

What he means by out of date i think is that its the version 2 head scult not the version 3.
Jst ordered my version 3 head scult now myself witht he rest of the kit. yoda looks fantastic mate.
what head did you go for? was it the the urethane rubber foam filled (for a standup model of yoda with little articulation) or the urethane skin version with a resin skull (for a full articulated puppet yoda) ?

Thanks guys,yes I think Phil's new version is so good, but my V2 was an awesome sculpt.

I am on the right on this pic, Commander Faie, Kashyyk trooper. The hut is a cut away scene, yes a bit of a cross over of movies!

Okay, the mini hut with him in it had my jaw on the floor.

Hi Chris , he is the version 2, rubber head, wire hands. He can be quite well manipulated to "speak", the eyes are fixed but can be set to any position atm, his ears don't move and there are no frown functions.
I think it is the V3 that you are thinking of that has the skin and undersupport.
The eyes were bought off a guy on here, they were a perfect fit in the sockets and seem to look fine.Glad you like him, good luck with you V3 .

aww awesome, ahhi see, yeah he mentioned that u could get mouth artiulation but no ear or frown movemnt. still awesome though..
I think i will buy a set of animatronic eyes so i can control them opening and closing with mymiddle finger whilst using it as a puppet. hard tojudge size though..
