Received my cowl today, which is strange because it's Sunday and there is no post on Sundays.
Absolutely astounding quality, I love it and I cannot wait to wear it to a convention.

It kinda looks like the V1 cowl on me, but it's not an issue. Although I wish this was a one piece cowl, would be a lot more convenient.

Where is the best spot to put the velcro strips, TheRocketeer ?

First off thanks I'm glad you like it..but

Its a V2 and it looks like a V2..its as accurate as you can get

They started making 1 piece cowls after the production company figured out a 2 piece was not working for the show.. I had already made mine....so yes a 1 piece would be cool..but I was trying to be as accurate as I could at the time... and I do make a 1 piece cowl..if anyone wants to buy the V1 :)

Also I leave the Velcro off so you can glue it to wherever it suits you best, everyone's head/neck is different, so its hard for me to say where you should glue them..

Do you sell them with the emblems already attached on the side and fully painted? Also, what is the difference between the v1 and v2 besides them being either on 1 piece or 2 piece cowls?

There were A LOT of changes between the v1 and v2 Flash cowls. The eye shape, mouth opening.. A lot of small changes that basically brought the Flash mask closer to the RF (I believe they started using the v2 mask at episode 4, season 1).. The v1 I like to call the pilot cowl because that's when it was made (for the pilot). But yes there are a few subtle changes in the cowls AND Rocketeers are 3D scans so 100% accurate.. The v1 IS the pilot cowl and the v2 is what you've seen since (and apparently they glued the v2 together to make it a 1 piece on set).. Go figure.. Hope this helps and I'll say this as a RF cowl owner.. You can't get higher accuracy then the 3D scan and Rocketeers pulls and reputation alone make this a "must buy" for cowl collectors

The cowl is amazing for anyone still on the fence. Rocketeer is top notch
